Sorry for the lack on content lately, things have been nuts so it’s time to jump back in. Here are the tenders the team announced this week. First, this is Mike Preston’s rumor. Secondly, I will always believe Ozzie Newsome when he says we are happy with the receivers we have and all of that hoopla. Finally, Marshall does not fit in [...] If you remember about a month or so ago, the City That Reeds I-Team uncovered a Tweet about Troy Smith that admitted to him smoking marijuana cigarettes…reefers (bong sound). Well thanks to Edward Lee at the Baltimore Sun the truth to that story is now just water pipe dreams. On the front page of The Sun’s [...] Do athletes realize that they are still public figures, and thus subject to public scrutiny? Troy Smith apparently has admitted (via Twitter) to the purchasing of a certain substance that happens to be controlled by certain federal agency like the DEA. The context of this whimsical Tweet all started when Ravens cornerback Fabian Washington throws [...] Ravens 29 Raiders 10 The Ravens captured their 100th win at home against the Oakland Raiders yesterday. Ironically, the Ravens won their first game in franchise history against the Raiders back in 1996 at Memorial Stadium. Overall, a fantastic day for the Ravens as they improve their record to 4-3, one game back of [...] Talk about a string of bad luck. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the mystery illness plaguing Smith was a combination of tonsillitis and a blood clot in his neck (that led to an infection in his lung). This game was fairly painful to watch for Ravens fans. Injuries continue to keep numerous starters on the sidelines and with a few exceptions, it was a pretty sad effort. Positives Ray Rice, Ray Rice and Ray Rice – The rookie had 77 yards on 8 carries including a beautiful 48 yard run. [...] |
