Former Ravens head coach Brian Billick pissed and moaned over the lack of interest from the Buffalo Bills. It seems odd, I know, since they hired Chan Gailey, who was also an ex-offensive coordinator who just happened to be blessed with players like Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin on his offense when hired.
Billick had the same situation in Minnesota with Culpepper in his prime, Cris Carter and Randy Moss. Yet, it appears as though Billick has never gotten over the sour taste in his mouth left from Steve Bisciotti’s tanning spray.
“Why he had not called a coach with a Super Bowl ring, 10 wins a year for nine years, having orchestrated the highest-scoring offense and defense in the history of the league, is a question worth asking,” Billick told WGRZ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Buffalo. “But I never spoke with Mr. Nix.” (per Baltimore Sun)
Despite awful color commentary, Brian’s horse still appears to be high and mighty. However, arrogance is a look unbecoming, remember that kids.

I’ll be honest, I really enjoy him as an announcer. There seem to be few guys who study the game the way he does so it’s great to see someone who knows what the hell they’re talking about.
I also think he’s going to have a really hard time finding a job b/c of the stigma attached to him from his departure from Bmore.
