Not that the Belichick will ever disclose the nature of his injury reports but the Ravens could be in position to face a battered Patriots this Sunday at Foxboro. I’m fully confident the Ravens could hold their own against a fully stocked New England squad but every little bit helps.
Wes Welker – He missed practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday. This could be the biggest blow for Brady if he loses his go-to possession receiver.
Randy Moss – His back has been bothering him and there have been “Randy Rumblings” lately. With the way the Ravens secondary has been giving up yards (Cleveland doesn’t count), a banged up Moss bodes well for another big day by Reed and Co.
Vince Wilfork – The monstrous DT is expected to miss a couple of weeks. This opens up a huge hole for Ravens running backs who have been lighting it up lately. At times he demands double teams by the offensive line so shifting the focus elsewhere creates more one on one match ups for an offensive line already playing at mid season form.
Jerrod Mayo – The linebacker is suffering with a sprained MCL in his right knee but it is unknown how bad it is. He also missed practice Thursday so this could further soften the Pats defensive attack.
Jonathan Wilhite – He is part of the Patriots CB rotation but has made a nice impact through the first three games. He was apparently injured his groin while running away from two suspicious men in the parking lot near his home.
Tom Brady – Not that the knee is bothering him but he still isn’t the Tommy Boy of old. If there was ever a game when the Ravens needed to figure out how to pressure the quarterback, this is the one. Brady has shown early on that if you can get to him in the pocket, you can force him into bad throws and procedure mistakes (see numerous delay of game calls against the Jets).
I think all of this leads to a Baltimore victory on Sunday.

I really think SD has the firepower to handle them-even in Pittsburgh.
