This week Ravens quarterback coach Hue Jackson interviewed twice with 49ers head coach Mike Singletary for the
offensive coordinator job. Jackson is a west coast dude, and probably would of been a great fit in San Francisco. However, the 49ers have decided to move in a different direction, Singletary has hired 62-year-old Jimmy Raye II as the new offensive coordinator for the 49ers.
Raye has been a head coach in the league for 32 years, as opposed to Jackson’s mere eight. This comes as a relief for Baltimore seeing Jackson devoped the city’s only decent quarterback in franchise history. Way to stick around Huey. Hopefully the onslaught of Baltimore coaches interviewing has finally subsided and the Ravens can finally focus on their free agency woes.
