I am so angry, I am so god damned fucking angry at NAT settings right now. I wish there was a way to physically hurt NAT settings. WHY THE FUCK CAN I NOT GET OPEN GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING SHIT ASS MOTHER FUCK ASS GOD DAMN HELLFIRE FUCK ALL NAT SETTINGS FOR TWO MOTHER FUCKING BOXES ON ONE NETWORK

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

We have two xboxes in the house and we cannot even play a game with them. YAY! I am so god damn proud of technology right now.

Yes I have opened the ports on the fucking router. It works fine when you have one xbox connected. The second mother fucker ALWAYS has strict settings. FUCK FUCK FUCK

NAT Settings

Have you tried checking if UPnP is enabled? That seems to need to be on if you have more than one.

No, that seems to be something new since I set up my router because i don't remember seeing that suggestion. Something to try, why the fuck not.

NAT Settings

I had used the port settings for my Xbox, but found there were conflicting ports when I got my ps3. That's when I found the UPnP suggestion.

NAT Settings

Postby Jammer » November 13th, 2012, 4:49 pm

Am a little lost here as my NAT has been wide open. Lately I have had to go into my router each time when playing to get my setting to open instead of moderate. When I go in, I have the proper ports forwarded to the static IP for the Xbox so not sure why all of a sudden it keeps starting up as moderate.

I've never had luck with consistent ports. Plus, the PS3 and 360 share a couple of ports, so forwarding would have to be redone based on what system I want to play. So, I went to turning on UPnP, and haven't had a NAT problem since.

I did enable the DMZ for the static address to see if that helps.
