I'd like to see the Doctor take some time off. I know he does between companions but we never get to see it. And of course it's always when he has a companion that there is a Universal Crisis.

After, who was it, Martha? When he swore he wouldn't take another companion-there was an episode where they showed him coming back from his time off wearing a hawaiian shirt and some kind of hat and I was like damn! I wish we could have seen what happened there!

This chick looks hot. I wish the Doctor would for once pick some totally hot chick who was a total moron. But that's not his style, he likes the smart ones.

Personnaly, I wish he would take a 2 episode break after Amy Pond...swing on over to Walking Dead Atlanta, GA and pick up Carl from where ever he ran off to this week. Take that little bitch on a trip across the galaxy in the TARDIS (It looks so much bigger on the inside) and eject his ass into the Eta Carinae Nebula but not before he snatches the Sheriff's hat off his head and places it atop his own.

I'm in.

And there have been episodes where he was not on the job, but of course evil rears its head and forces him to save everyone.

Teaser Trailer!

Looks like the Doctor in a cowboy hat at the beginning of last season must have gone over well. They are bringing it back again.

The latest Christmas special is available now on Netflix. They come up with some of the most amazing and emotional stories on this show.

And I watched that season finale of Episode 6 again and I have to repeat, it's one of the best television episodes of anything that i have ever seen. I enjoyed it that much. If anyone of you has netflix and is dragging his feet about watching this show I would strongly suggest at least checking out the first couple of episodes. You'll be hooked.

Now that baseball season is over for the kids, it's time to binge on Doctor Who episodes. I have about half of Season 5 and all of Season 6 to catch up on.

I've been deliberately avoiding season 6 until I could watch them at once. I guess that time is now.

Doctor Who Sixth Season

Postby Wrekcut » June 27th, 2012, 6:45 am

Looks like I have a new show to start watching. I love when I find out about a show late in the game; it makes it much easier to sit down and watch a bunch of episodes at once without catching up to the current ones too fast

If you've not watched any of these, Wreck, you are in for a treat. Season one of the new series does a pretty good job of laying out the basics of the Doctor for those not familiar with the old series, and I think Christopher Eccleston was totally underrated as the ninth doctor.

I like all the new Doctors, but he was my favorite. Would have loved if he had more than 1 season

Eccleston was a damn good Doctor. He could bring the humor, but had an intensity that you rarely see in the role. Probably the most bad ass Doctor of all of them, but Matt Smith is definitely giving him a run for the money.

Matt Smith is growing on me, but I still think I like Tennant the most of the new ones.

I am only about half way through season 2 but enjoyed the first Doctor more, for sure. Thats a big part of the reason that I am only half way through season 2.
