Brisket

I have bad brisket and ok brisket quite a bit. Only had good brisket a couple times. I think you have to be a magician to turn the worst piece of meat into something tasty. I have stayed away from it for that reason.

I made the mistake of ordering a piece of brisket in NC. I knew it was wrong at the time but was curious. Yeah it sucked.

I know it's a chain but I have never had a bad brisket from Famous Daves.

I used to get whatever the big picnic type meal was from Famous Dave's and live off of it for a week. It was one of the better briskets I've had. There is a local joint here that does it very well but of the 10 "BBQ" places I am surrounded by only I think 2 even try and I am pretty sure the other one is some "bought in" frozen junk.
