btw, how does the series translate the first book? Are the books pretty sweet? I like the genre... worth reading?

Its very close to the books. I was shocked how close after watching season one and then reading through the first novel.

The books are way more detail oriented, as is usually the case but I think the show is very true to the way the books were written.

Nice. Glad to see when movies hold true to form. I figured they must have done a decent job, but without reading it, you never know. I might have to pick them up. There's a 4 pack on amazon for 22 bucks. 5.50 a book is pretty damn good.
