Saw Apollo 18 too. I enjoyed it.

Also saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Decent movie. The movie was a perfect setup for a zombie outbreak too :)

And I saw The Change-Up. Some good laughs, and Olivia Wilde is effin SMOKIN hot

I watched Rise of the Plant of the Apes and enjoyed it. I really digged the special effects.

I then made the mistake of watching this:

I did not make it 45 minutes, absolute piece of shit movie!

Watched Moneyball with Brad Pitt. I really loved it. You don't even have to like baseball. You start watching it and before you realize it has your full attention. If it was fiction, the ending would have been a little better, lol.

Also saw Colombiana. It's Zoe Saldana looking hot and killing people. Nuff said.

Watched 'In Time' and unfortunately my record continues for watching movies that have a great story or plot potential yet fall short due to casting or some other failure. The film tries to turn 'Gattica' into 'Robin Hood'. Olivia Wylde's role was wasted and pointless and I really want Justin Timberlake to drown in a pool of acid.

Last weekend, watched Moneyball and Super 8. I really liked them both.

Last night, I watched for the first time "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle". Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe I've never seen it. I laughed out loud quite a bit.

Drive sucked. One car chase scene....seriously...in a movie called Drive ....about a stuntman. Ron Perlman and Bryan Cranston had basically cameo roles and yet had more speaking lines than the lead actor.

My recent string of disappointing movies continues.

I watched this tonight also, I didn't think it was that bad. Not good but not that bad. :D
When I saw the opening credits(hot pink script) and it looked like "License to drive" opening credits w/ Corey Haim I knew I was in for a good one.

What a coincidence. I also watched Drive last night. It was not at all what I expected. I'm really not sure how I felt about it, which I guess is not a ringing endorsement.

First off, License To Drive is a classic. 8)

Second, I played the hell out of Driver on the Playstation back in the day. 8)

Third, both of the above mentioned are leagues above this dogpile of a movie.

*Spoilers* (if you care)

The previews made Drive out to be like this badass driver did all these amazing getaway or transfer jobs for the mob.

After the first few minutes where he sets the rules and gets the two guys away from the crime scene I thought "okay, this could be cool". Then he decides to help the thug that gets out of prison (you know, the guy who's wife he wants to bang) and when things go wrong we get to see the big (and only) car chase scene. We get way too many long scenes of quiet reflection from our brooding, doesn't-say-much hero. The point of having small roles for actors like Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman (great, under-used methodical actors) and 5 minutes of Christina Hendicks (great, under-used rack?) was for what exactly? Name recognition to go see the movie? Apparently.

Alot of reviews I saw for this were giving it 4 out of 5 stars. WTF? I know I'm a harsh critic but come ooooooooooon.

I haven't seen Drive but am surprised at the Drive hate considering the overall reviews I had seen.

This.

I remember seeing all these publicity shots of Christina related to the movie and I thought she'd have a big roll and we get to see some tits. What did she have, like 2 lines in the movie and then she gets her head vaporized by a shotgun

Last night we watched Shark Night 3D except not in 3D. It was a gloriously horrible piece of shit. I mean normally with these kind of movies you get to see some titties, and there was one super hot chick in this one whose rack I was really hoping to see. Nope, I guess they wanted the movie to stand on its own merits. Which it did not.

Now I am trying to remember if Piranha had titties in it. I liked it, so it must have.

I watched Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. I laughed exactly zero times. There was a ton of full frontal nudity, so at least it had that going for it.
