I got to see Platoon last night.

Still the best Sheen movie ever (and that had nothing to do with Sheen)
It kinda makes you want to smoke pot though, even if you don't.

Was better than I thought it'd be but much like Thor, it was a bit too sci-fi odd for me.

Watched Green Lantern last weekend and it was fine. The weakest of the past summer's superhero movies though to me.

Next from time to time I get one out of the queue for the kids and so next weekend will be The Smurfs.

Watched 30 minutes or less. Wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be, but it was still a good movie

I had the luxury of watching "Friends w/ Benefits" this weekend, being a diplomatic husband and all. Justin Timberlake was dreamy, just saying.

My wife and I were both amazed at how boring Friends with Benefits was. LIke 1/3 of the way in she says something like 'it's supposed to be a comedy but there's nothing funny in it, and the story just sucks'.

It was not funny, at one point I thought the movie was going to end only to then have to sit through another 30 minutes of crap.

Danny McBride and Nick Swardson together are great. And Michael Peña as the assassin is hilarious. Like is said, the movie IS funny.

Watched The Hangover 2 and my original thoughts were confirmed: there didn't need to be a sequel. There were a few funny bits but it felt forced without capturing the spirit of the first.

I heard yesterday they are beginning talks on a third one. Funny thing is they said it would have a different plot than the two others. Oh, so what you are saying is that the first two WERE in fact the exact same movie like everyone said?
