Who doesn't like to eat and drink in excess?

Turkey Day

Do you guys cook anything outside of the regular Thanksgiving box? I did a lot of Paula Deen recipes last year but haven't planned a thing yet.

I googled it and it looks like a popular recipe. (the jalapenos one). I'll give it a shot for thanksgiving, it sounds deeeeeee licious!

Just this week I picked up some lil smokies and biscuit dough and made mini pigs in a blanket or whatever you want to call them. The wife is now addicted.

Oh man, those and some mustard....yum!

Yeah, you can sub out the bacon with big pepperoni slices as well and it's kick ass....but the bacon is my fave

I will find it later and post but there's this dip mix they sell at Sams sometimes and I mix that with the cream cheese

I'm generally too busy drinking my bro-in-law's bourbon, playing his Magic Tee arcade game and watching the lions get spanked on his giant HD projector screen to do any cooking.

I have never tried injection style cooking. It seems like it would be delicious.

I am making those peppers for the family today but i am doing them in the oven, not the grill. I made up a sample batch this morning just to check things out. I used plain cream cheese with old bay sprinkled on top. Holy crap these things are delicious. I was going to try sprinkling some brown sugar on top but i forgot, and now i think i may not try it because they're fantastic as-is. Goo dthing I didn't make them all because i'd eat them all before it was time to go to my brother's.

Thanks for the idea!
