By all accounts a classy guy and a huge competitor. The guy just never considered quitting. I still love watching the Thrilla in Manila...

That was their third fight right? My god that's painful to watch. That was supposedly the fight that messed up Ali's brain wasn't it?

Yeah, and they had to hold Frazier back at the end because he kept trying to get back in even though he couldn't see.

If you ever watch Champions Forever, you'll see just how badass these guys were back in prime of boxing. Ali, Frazier, Norton, Holmes, and Foreman. Nowdays, I can't even tell you who is the heavyweight champion or how many different belts there are. And these heavyweight fights used to be free to watch on ABC.

heavyweight division is dead. lennox lewis was the last good heavyweight. now its a couple of euro trash boxers who refuse to fight in America who own every belt in that division.
