Played a bunch of drop in games again this weekend. I am still stuck at rookie three, I can not get up to a B-. I was at 90 percent but quit two games due to jackass goalies not playing and it took all 90% away.

Still, bitching and crying aside I am playing better and improving.

I usually play what ever is open, it is easier to get higher scores playing defense but after a certain point my grade wouldn't increase without playing an offensive position. From what guys are telling me offensively it is easier to get a better score set up as a two-way fwd rather than sniper(currently using).

I've played quite a few drop in games... playing mostly left defenseman. Its not much worse than some league games just because you don't have teams of crazy stats as much, or if you do, they aren't always on the same side. I've just gone with a defensive defenseman, rock the slot and dump/pass it up, and make sure people don't cherry pick. Most games I've been getting a B or higher. I just don't get much for assists or sog from the point in those games. A lot of one on one, but as a defenseman, it doesn't seem to matter too much.

If you play your position well (follow the blue arrow or if it doesn't show up often even better) you will get an A easily so there is 1/3 of the battle. Team play is rated by making alot of passes, not giving the puck away, winning faceoffs if you're a center, not taking penalties. Stats, well this could be the tough one on a random game. Pass the puck alot and hope for getting an Assist.

Overall I tend to float around the B+/A- range.

If you are close on ranking up there are ways to pad those stats a bit but you have to get others to play along.

Yeah, all I need is to get up to a B. I've been hovering at a B- since the start. I've been getting better scores, but I must have started on the low end.

I will be on tonight for a few games.

My scores have increased ten fold, I was floating around a C and I am up every game. I was close to getting my pro card and then quitting screwed me and currently I am around 35% to a B-. Yesterday I felt like I was getting at least a point every game, both scoring and assists. It is those games when some glitchy fucker starts scoring goals every two minutes or you get a really good team that passes the puck, plays killer defense and only takes quality shots when my grade for stats really suffers.Imagine that.

How do you know what % you are for that rating? I thought the percentage was overall for the entire upgrade...

After the game you have the three categories : Games played, rating and wins. There it a percentage meter that goes up or down under grade after each game.

Change your guy to a Toughguy Defensemen. Stay in position. Hit people...A LOT. As soon as the puck hits your stick, pass it immediately to an open person on your team. Don't take penalties.

As long as you finish as a positive +/- stat line, you are golden.
