With the extra points for longer TDs, I'd go with Rodgers.

But hey, what do I know.

You could say that about anybody, though. Sometimes you just have to roll the dice.

Bullshit, running QBs get hurt more and you know it...but like I said, please take Vick at #1 in our league I would appreciate it.

And DFS - I will remind you what happened the last time someone we know drafted Brady #1, hilarity ensued

What is your yardage threshold for a "running QB"?

if you mean how often does a QB have to run to be a "running QB" I would say 75 attempts or more...yardage isn't a good measure for that, IMO

Not hilarity in that Brady tore his knee up in the first game, but more because Aldogg drafted him #1 based on the big ass year the year prior and we all gave him so much shit about it, then he tore his knee, then Aldogg went missing

Yeah, that's what I meant basically. You're right about the attempts vs yardage I think.

Just as an example, here is how many 16 game seasons Vick has had (not counting time in prison) since being in the league: 1/8

AP: 2/4

Yeah I get that Vick didn't start last year or the year before but I won't go with a boom or bust guy at #1 myself, granted the guy can have some amazing games he could also make you sorry as fuck you used a #1 on him

but, anyone can get hurt so who knows, I will stop preaching it

Vick is the only QB to have had more than 75 rush attempts (he had 100) last season. Next closest was Freeman at 68, followed by Garrard, Rodgers, Cutler, Campbell, Ryan, Flacco, Tebow and Fitzpatrick.

I don't know if I'd classify any of those guys as running QBs but the stats would suggest that they are what you have in that category. The year before it was Garrard with 77 attempts in the lead and then a sharp drop into the 60s and 40s after that.

I would suggest that Vick is a statistical outlier then for that kind of measure, and so we might just have to say that HE gets hurt more often than some other QBs because the rest of those guys aren't so injury prone.

You have to go back then to 2007 to find any QB who rushed more than 75 times (Young at 93 attempts) and then it goes from pre-prison Vick at 123 in 2006 down to Young at 83 for that year and David Carr (WTF?) at 53.

I think maybe 75 is too high a number to use to classify a guy as a runner these days, or maybe Vick is the only runner anymore.
