Kobe's Slur

I simply found this interesting. It was obvious that he said it. And I'm sure that worse things are said on the court every night. Its just the fact that he was caught on camera. Some people said it was amplified because Kobe is a superstar in the league. But I'm not really buying that part. I think if it was Javale McGee we would see the same kind of media coverage.

The biggest shock I had was that he didn't apologize. He released a statement explaining himself, but he never apologized.

I haven't liked Kobe since he forced Shaq out of LA & got in trouble in Colorado.

Its funny to me how much of a jackass he is, yet so many people love him. And just how hard he's worked to be the goodie goodie poster child, yet failed miserably.

He was a dick before he beat the rape charge and he hasn't changed now. Why apologize? It's not like the NBA is going to do too much to their golden boy. The guy could pull some serious Ron Artest crap in the stands and Stern still wouldn't suspend I'd wager.

the thing is, shit like that shouldn't come out of someone's mouth when they are at work

the guy is a class A douche, so it doesn't shock me much

I mean anymore our standards for athletes are not to get arrested for anything too serious, try not to beat any women and try not to get caught with drugs
