Nashville or Phoenix are literally the only 2 clubs I can root for now and not feel dirty.

Good thing Sabres gave up on his team 2 weeks into the season.

I'm excited for the playoffs especially since my team leaked in. Playoff hockey is so intense it is the ultimate time to watch.

I'm sick of the Penguins being all the talk in the playoffs and I think even getting by the Bolts will take alot of work. Tampa gets hot in spurts though and the Pens have lots of playoff experience. The Rangers could very easily send the Caps home in round one. They have the roster to take Lord Stanley but something happens to them when the playoffs start. I would give Buffalo a better shot if they didn't have the Flyers in the first round. I like Boston overall in the EAST. Bruins/Habs will be a good series.

Speaking of falling apart in the playoffs, Vancouver better make a good run. They'll never look better on paper than right now. It's theirs to lose. I think the other three matchups will be a long series. If LA can get healthy they can give the Sharks all they can handle. I'm undecided on picking that one. I think Phoenix will surprise aging Detroit. Probably the least popular series is the Anaheim/Nashville which makes it the most interesting to me. The Ducks will squeak by.

Boston vs Vancouver in the final.

Six teams have won both the President's Trophy and the championship, most recently Detroit in '02. I think prior to that it was Rangers in '94. This is the only mention I will make of the '94 series.

As for the finals, I think this is going to have to be the Canucks' year, though they struggle against Chicago so I would not be entirely surprised to see them go out in round one.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Vancouver/Montreal Stanley Cup.
