Gaming Nights

Postby rabb » January 11th, 2011, 1:06 pm

I know we have discussed this before, but I want to start setting it in motion with the calendar.

I assume Friday and Saturdays are the most popular, so we can work on those as we go. Are there other nights we want to dedicate, or just work on those 2 to start to reduce a failure?

I think we can rotate games in and out, Friday do Bad Company 2 for example and Saturday Black Ops

Let's hear some thoughts so we can plan the month out or something

I think for now we can pretty much consistently take one night for Black Ops and one night for Bad Company as you suggest. Pinball is another game a lot of us have even though it is more just bullshit in a party chat together.

The only other major release I see a lot of us getting that may take a weekend night would be Bulletstorm.

The games we can work on, I was thinking Gears 2, Rainbow and some other things like that would be fun to work into the rotations as well.

If we can all agree on the nights being Friday and Saturday then I can make the games up

Weekends during the winter are usually pretty boring. Weeknights are hit and miss for me, so I agree with starting with just the weekends.

Don't hurt yourselves thinking about it. Here's a realistic calendar for you:

Monday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Tuesday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Wednesday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Thursday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Friday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Saturday: Battlefield/Black Ops
Sunday: Barbie Horse Adventures

I was actually, and I know you don't believe me, going to offer "alternatives" to the game nights for the stubborn fucks like you and the PS3 only owners like digital-junkie

That's cool, if we can bump it down to only ten minutes. And we're talking AM, right?

True with the PS3 with Unchartered 2 and need to start doing some Medal of Honor again.

That's clever, but does it come in Halo 8 1/2?

Seriously, I'm usually on at some point in the evening with guys from the Groundbaggers clan, but you're all more than welcome to drop in. It's a good bunch of guys, we don't take it very seriously and almost always have room for a few more.
