DFS fitness journal

Started yesterday back at the gym. I plan to go 5 days a week @ 5am and stay till 6 or 630 and go straight to work from there. I have given up soda and drink water all day except supper where I have 1% choc milk or 2% white milk. All food is portioned out with NO FAST FOOD. So far I have made 15.57 miles if you combine today and yesterday on the elliptical. Cardio via elliptical is all I am focusing on until I get down to 250 then I will hit the pig iron like a convict as well as cardio. I am starting at around 310lbs.

At the gym at 5:30am with 899 calories burnt and 7.70 miles on the elliptical machine and done by 6:30. My calves are about to pop and my stomach think my throat's been cut cause of the diet. I LOVE FITNESS.

Kindle really makes your time go by quick though. Its easy to run if you are reading about the zombie apocalypse. :lol:

Didn't go this morning, my legs are dead and need to recoop. Got a lot of outside work today so that should make up the difference. No soda since Sunday and the caffeine withdrawals are all but gone. Getting used to the calorie cut down finally so I dont feel starved all day now.

Back on the grind this morning. 7.5 miles and I have been feeling great. Just to show how out of shape I was, cardio and dieting since Monday and I can see my zipper when I sit down now, lol.

I had a great day Saturday going for a full 90 minutes on the elliptical covering 11.23 miles and burning 1330 calories. Took Sunday off and hit it again this morning finally hitting my goal of 8 miles even in 60 minutes. Diet is getting easier and water is actually my preferred beverage but I still sneak in some 1% chocolate milk with my supper. I'm such a saucy whore.

I think a lot of people will find that switching to water and cutting out sodas and things like that, you can lose a good bit of weight alone. Good work man!

1 week today changing my life around and I have a fuck ton of energy all day long. I feel lighter and have been wrestling with the kids more and even cleaning house without be told, lol. Actually been thinking about going to the gym after work also to do light lifting to tone up as I am losing. I really wish the gym had some sort of boxing training cause I have always wanted to learn the sweet science plus its great cardio AND my wife would think twice before leaving dirty dishes in the sink, :lol: :lol: :lol:

Have I hit a wall or is my body telling me something? I haven't been to the gym since Tuesday and it seems like every time I get up in the morning I am just dead tired. I went to bed earlier and earlier the past two nights but I just cant get enough energy to get up in the mornings. I am still eating healthy but I just feel fatigued all day now.
