Print vs Audio

The place to talk about books, duh

Who doesn't sniff books?

Seriously though, I think I know what you mean. On the rare occasions that I get out some of my antique books (which seems weird to say, but I don't know what else to call books that are over 100 years old), they definitely have that distinct "old print" smell to them.

I don't read them that often anymore because if I leave them out then the kiddos get them, and my 1898 editions of Irish fiction are NOT coloring books.

I left a trail of copies of the 1920-something editions of "Modern British Literature" series and when she rounded the corner, I whacked her on the head with an old card catalog drawer. Easy Peasy. No woman can resist the awesome drawing power of DH Lawrence and Virginia Woolf.

I'm still trying to figure out what Bleu's avatar is. It looks like Bugs Bunny was cast as the A section in Human Centipede 2.

I thought it looked like one of the splicers from Bioshock.

I haven't played Bioshock (you may all gasp here), so the closest thing it resembles to me is the cover for Human Centipede.

Damn you, Tosh.0!

I'm going to set up a Netflix party for that movie and invite you guys in. Couldn't get my wife to watch it with me before.

And you never played either Bioshock? WTF?

Okay, I just posted this, but it disappeared into the depths of the interwebz I guess...

I have a "thing" for creepy looking rabbits, and it indeed developed when I first played Bioshock...

@ Johnny: First, I shun you for not playing Bioshock...Second, you will see my collection of creepy rabbits on facebook... :D
And The Human Centipede was disturbing...and I normally dig disturbing, but that one seemed extreme for extreme's sake...

In my defense, there were quite a few games I had purchased around that time, and I never had time to play Bioshock.
