Yeah...I was wondering if that was how you'd respond.

I can't say anything, you guys owned us the last couple years.

When the rumor flew on twitter that Al like McDaniel, I about crapped. That would be the WORST possible idea. It's going to take Fox and the GM a while to undo that mess.

Ah. I was confused. I thought your love for the new guy meant for Fox as the new hire... hence my its McDaniel not McDonald reference.

Well with inexperience in your front office, it is good to have an guy like Fox who has been there, done that.

Yeah, this should help Denver, even though I'm not a big fan of the coach having complete say in personnel. Typically, coaches having the vast majority of the say in personnel matters doesn't end well.

However, Fox doesn't seem to have the ego of those that typically want to play coach/GM, and he can really help the front office get things straight.

Take it from me when I tell you that owners who have ANY say in player personnel choices only make their teams bad, bad, bad. And sucky.

Refer to previous post about being a Raider fan. I feel your pain. Basically, the best franchises are the ones where a good GM is in place, and is on the same page as the coach.

Fox is definitely a good pick up for Denver. IMHO the NFL is in the business of instant gratification (college sports are that way as well) so if you aren't consistently in the divisional playoffs, or Super Bowl for that matter, then you aren't needed as a head coach.
problem solved, problem staying solved...Rangers lead the way!

Raiders make it official with Hue Jackson. Now lets sign some of our big free agents back.

I agree on the FAs. I figured this is the route Al would take when he hired Hue...he was looking ahead already last year.
