I love dynasty mode. Last night I played one exhibition game and then fired up dynasty mode--All I did was recruit players and sim the games (as a result ASU is now 2-8 for the season). My wife came out at one point, watched me choosing pitches for recruits for a while and finally asked, 'do you actually get to play in this game?'

The last football games I bought were NCAA and Madden '07, and All-Pro. I figure the games will have changed enough at this point to warrant another purchase. But I just don't get nearly as interested in the pro game as I do in the college game. The electricity, the excitement! The insanely detailed rendering of Sparky as he does pushups!

2. We begrudgingly and naively create a league and are really excited about it
3. Rival makes his yearly appearance
4. Week 3 of the league starts and everyone quickly realizes, this may as well be the last week

Just had a major glitch. Getting near the end of the half and I punt the ball with it ending up in the end zone for a touch back. Next thing I know my opponent has the ball at my 47 yard line.

My sports purchase in the fall will be hockey. I have now found a new game that people glitch on that pisses me off. I just love the Wild jerseys though.

One feature I'm finding quite charming is the lack of information about controls. There is an extremely basic list of controls in the in-game manual that tells you basically how to snap the ball and change your defensive guy.

Meanwhile, the in-game pro-tips pop up all the time with helpful information like 'press B to spin' or 'hold y and click LS to jam the outside receivers'

THIS IS NOT FUCKING PRO TIP INFORMATION. THIS IS GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING BASIC FUCKING GAME INFO THAT SHOULD BE AVAILABLE SOMEWHERE IN THE GAME OR THE NONEXISTANT GAME MANUAL.

How the fucking shit do they get away with this shit? I have fumbled now twice receiving punts because I DON'T FUCKING KNOW HOW TO FAIR CATCH THE FUCKING BALL
