Xbox controller

Anyone ever have a controller quit working? This is one with a wire connection so no it's not out of batteries. My kid said they were holding it and got shocked. Odd cause the damn thing was only a few weeks old. And sucks cause I don't have the receipt to take it back!

Did you by a oem xbox controller or a knock off?

Only time I have ever had a controller break was playing COD, damn thing decided to smash right into the floor mid match.

Wasn't a knockoff so I don't know wtf happened. Kids say it shocked them and just quit working. Who knows though? With my kids they may have dropped it in the shitter and lied about it.

Well, unless you specifically asked them if they dropped it in the shitter, they may not have technically lied. I haven't had issues, but only have wireless controllers. About the only thing I have had problems with is the joystick parts wear out a tad and don't stay centered, but that after awhile.

That sucks... and is just plaid weird. I'm going with the shitter call.
