I went to gamestop trying to get the collectors edition cause I wanted all the courses but they didn't have. If you buy all the courses on live I believe they want 1600 msp. Also the game was 49.99 at gamestop.

Gold Mastery lets you unlock the course and have unlimited rounds? Am I right in that?

Well, how can you get gold mastery if you do not have the course to play? Really I have no idea.I am still learning. Just last night I finally figured out how to change the pga tournaments from 4 rounds to two.

You have to use coins to unlock rounds. One round costs like 6000 coins though... and it takes like at least 6 rounds to unlock a course. I did notice that you could unlock certain courses for cheaper... like 15000 to get it. They had run some specials this weekend. Not sure how often they do that. At least I think that's how it works. I'm not sure either.

I would rather use my coins for boost pins. If I play the game for longer than a week I may buy the additional courses.

I'm using mine for boost pins this time around, but may get the courses next time around. I just want the 5x multiplier to be honest. The other ones are nice, but I don't really care if I hit the ball better. I've been playing more on realistic setting anyway. Especially getting rid of the spin makes the game totally different.

Shockingly they made it much more affordable this year. If the collector's edition gives you all the courses for $10 more it is way better than last year where they didn't have that and charged $50 for the DLC.

Never mind did the research and the Collector's comes with 5 additional courses but then there is DLC for 11 courses and if you get the 11 it is 3,200 points.

But you can use coins to purchase them. It just takes a long time if you go that route right? I think you get around 600 coins per 18. If each course runs like 15000 coins, it takes like 25 rounds if and when they go on sale.

At least they let you do that though if you have the regular edition it is a lot of golf to get all 16 extra courses.

No doubt... but it might add some playability to the game.

Last year I believe they didn't give you that option and I think it actually made it harder to progress if you didn't buy the courses.

They also add bonus coins for checking in every day with your club. You get 1000 coins after four days and extra ones depending on how much time you put in the game that week.

One good change about this year is during the pga schedule if the course comes up and you do not have the dlc you have the option to play the event by changing the venue to a course you do have. Nice feature, I always find myself changing it to St. Andrews.

I've just been changing it to the course I'm closest to for mastery points. You get pin packs for doing it which is nice. I finally bought the 50 refill pin pack... costs a shit ton, but to get the 5 time multiplier to boost Jala Peno, its worth it.
