Gonna buy my kids a 360 and Kinect for christmas. That Kinect just looks too cool and they will love it. Personally, I can't wait to play that Batman game.

Toys R us had a buy one game, get one half off over the weekend. Grabbed Modern Warfare 3 for me and my son. Also bought Disneyland Adventures and Just Dance 3 for my daughters since ya know the xbox was actually for them.....least I told my wife that. Any good old games I need to grab that are cheap since I haven't played video games in years. Im not much of an online player since I have a billion kids and can't pause the game anytime someone needs something without pissing off another player. I definitly am hoping to get the first arkham batman game before I buy the second one.

How old are the girls again? I got the demo for Kinectimals and mine loved it. As far as regular games go, just look at the all time scores on metacritic.com and see what is up your alley. Depends on whether or not you like shooters. There are a ton of good ones, but you may want to focus on sp ones where the gameplay is longer or co-op for you and your son. Gears 2 is a good one for horde where you guys can team up and play the missions together and should be on the cheap. Also, for the Kinect, Kinect sports are fun for the whole family, though they do have a recognition issue at times. You can even send out challenges on the 2nd one without worrying about pausing it... though, I'm not sure that the price is down on either.

I started to look up the Kinectimals but didn't quite understand it. My girls love zoos and animals so I will probably grab it soon. Daughters are 12, 8 and 7.

When I play, I prefer a long story type game with lots of freedom. I always liked the Zelda games where you had to find stupid little crap to beat certain levels. I suck at shooting games cause I don't have the patience to sit and be a sniper for an hour.
