I really enjoyed the game upon early release. The biggest problem is that EA keeps doing the damn tuner updates. Seriously 3 or 4 tuner updates already? Rather than letting the game develop and then being responsive to how the game is being manipulated...they just decided to constantly fuck it up so you have no idea what game you are actually going to be playing.

I hope it settles down. It has HUGE potential. I just hate the fact that EA is using early release as beta testers.

By the way FM - Less than 72 hours there were people with 80+ games played and over 300 points.

There are some who spend countless hours glitching to get their skaters faster and more agile than others. Same thing every year. It's fairly obvious when you start a game and the other team is 10x faster and scores at will and usually causes us to back out.

I hate people who back out when it obvious that they are just losing cause they suck... happened to me twice last night... 5 - 7 seconds left in the game.. losing 3-0 2-0, the jerk faces leave.. pissssses me off..

Oh yeah. One other bonus during EASHL games RE: Your post above.

I'm not sure what the penalty free backout time is once a game starts. It may still be 2 minutes. HOWEVER - If you pause the game you can scout who you are up against, Including their overall rating. It's a Club Scouting function they added which will slow down the game and probably increase the amount of rage on the part of cheaters...and yet somehow keep you sane knowing that there's 30 minutes of your life not having to rage on EA.

Also forgot to mention. The leveling for your EASHL player now has 3 components. Number of Games Played, Overall Rating, and Number of Wins. A new twist...

So if your team sucks you're penalized against playing others or does this actually help the matchups?

Sorry let me clarify. In EASHL matchups are supposed to be better at matching against equal level. I haven't seen it first hand because there are limited teams right now...however they claim it is better to keep pro teams plaing pro teams and elite playing elite.

The EASHL Amateur/Pro/Superstar/Legend cards are unlocked in 3 increments each (hence the small 90xp boosts each time a new increment is unlocked).

So it goes something like this although my numbers are probably off a bit.

Rookie (530xp to start) = 0 Games Played, 0 Rating, 0 Wins
amateur Lv 1 (+90xp) = 10 GP, C Rating, 5 Wins
amateur Lv 2 (+90xp) = 15 GP, C+ Rating, 10 Wins
amateur Lv 3 (+90xp) = 20 GP, C+ Rating, 10 Wins
Pro Lv 1 (+120 xp) = 25 GP, B- Rating, 15 Wins

So to really level your guy, not only do you need games played and a good rating, but you also have to win a certain number of games in OTP or with your club.

"With your club" meaning if my club wins 15 games I had to be there for the wins?

Fuck it. I'm not going to try and figure anything else out until I open it tomorrow. 8)

Any ranked OTP game or EASHL club games that you were a part of with your player (physically playing) will count to toal games played.

If you play 30 games with your pro (EASHL and OTP combined), Have a B- Overall Rating based upon your individual performance, and your team(s) went 5-25 during those 30 games your character would not level up past an amateur Lv1 Card.

Imagine the impact when you finally get to 150 games played for your Legend Card but because you ONLY won 70 of those games you can't level the character up.

I think due to my rage and piss poor communication skills you are confusing EASHL Club ranking (amateur/pro/elite) with the new EASHL Player Progression Tree (Rookie, Amateur/Pro/Superstar/Legend) which is broken into 3 sub category levels.

Sounds like I need to pick up an abacus and a slide rule to figure this shit out. Usually my fingers and toes work to at least get me up to 18... shit. Like it even matters. I'm just going for time spent picking my nose in the penalty box. I am also not liking the fact that I have class the day all these games come out. Screw school.

GF shipped it yesterday. I had no idea how complicated it was though. I was expecting to just switch to my guy closest to the puck and either check the crap out of the bad guy or skate through their defense and score. I may not be sophisticated enough to handle actually responsibility instead of tackling the guy next to me. I pictured it to be Madden on skates with flashy lights and a horn.
