It wasn't a code, it just auto-downloaded for me as part of PSN+

If anyone gets a beta code let me know, I don't want to go get Splinter Cell just for this.

I tried, just for giggles, to redeem one of the 3 codes they gave (same email as you Lamb) and it let me so I am wondering if I can just use that instead because that disc is long gone.

Going to try shortly

From what I can tell looking around online, the idea was the send the extra codes to anyone who had splinter cell and signed up for uplay to give to friends. The uplay member could use splinter cell, and the friends got in using the code.

I think that was their intent, it let me use, install and play with one of my codes so I won't be using the disc. I don't know why they even went with the disc thing anyhow, that is stupid.

Get more people to get Splinter Cell. Just like MS did with Crackdown years ago by throwing in the Halo 3 beta.

Yes, but Splinter Cell/GRAW are a lot different than Halo...I get your point though, I just think it's stupid (not your point, the fact they they do this).
