Honestly, I have played with my girlfriend and her son, or even just one of them and we do fairly well as a 2 or 3 person group most of the time. I would say if we get a few people, or even 2 we could do some MP damage. I love Guerrilla mode so far, haven't done the SP yet.

What I love is, it takes a mix of run and gun as well as stealth. I have snuck right past people to take certain objectives which is always a good time. I am also learning, melee is your friend and your worst fucking enemy.

Someone review this game a little more please.

It looks like a smoother R6V 3rd person style game with GOW cover. Is this accurate? Do the controls feel more COD or R6V? Guerilla mode is like Horde (with up to how many players) right? I'm guessing there are your basic TDM, area defense, modes etc in MP?

Since Jammer says he'll get it if I do I suppose I could be talked into grabbing it this weekend.
Fuck-it list: Owls, Ohio, Facebook, Red Wings.

I would say you are spot on with all of those things FM.

To me, it plays like RB6 with GOW cover...still feels like GR but not as much, and I don't mean that in a bad way at all. Otherwise yes, Guerrilla is like Horde without as many enemies (could be configurable I guess, I only played an hour or so) and the MP is standard TDM, objective stuff.

At no point at all, not even close have I felt this was like CoD in any fashion including the controls or how it plays. Actually if you play like CoD you'll die, a lot.

I won't go Brink on you guys, but I will say I am very happy with this so far and will be playing a lot of it. The weapon customization is the cat's ass. I was just telling Jammer today, I think it could revive a lot of old school nights for us.

I'd prefer this as my go to military shoot for the foreseeable future, probably until Rainbow 6. It has a great R6V feel with the Gears like cover thrown in. The office Guerrilla level feels like a nod to R6V, as a matter of fact. There is nothing that feel COD like to me, which is probably why outlets outside of Joystiq and Destructoid (aka, those in the big publisher's pockets) along with the COD fans are giving this one fairly average reviews. Personally, this is a welcome return to Ghost Recon, and my favorite shooter to come out in a while.

If I get it, will we play it as much as we played SWTOR (aka "the last great game that we all should own and play the shit out of")?

I tried a couple of hours of the campaign last night from Redbox, but I think I can only play a couple of game types up to level five w/out buying the pass. I'd like to try a few matches to see if it's something I'm willing to take the plunge on. Anyone up for it tonight?

You have no idea how frustrating that game is to play if you don't go out and spend 2 grand upgrading your computer first

The important thing is we hold onto that like a rape victim.

I won't be on tonight, I will be drunk as hell at Van Halen but tomorrow night I am playing for sure. I agree with everything Johnny said, this is probably my fave shooter since BF3 came out...it's right up there with RB6 Vegas honestly.

We could even dedicate a forum to it!

I mean, we really ought to, given what a massive hard-on everyone had for it.

I still plan on getting back to SWTOR also btw, just wasn't in the cards the last few months with my living situation. I think you mistake the fact that I didn't play as often as you guys as me not ever wanting to play it again. My ADD will kick in, don't worry.

On the bright side, Domo and I have created a number of alts, and we're on all the time, so you'll have someone to play with.

Back to GRFS, though. I understand that the full campaign can be played co-op? Have you tried co-op campaign? I ask because I don't have the luxury of only buying one copy of any given game. If I'm going to shell out $120 for a game for Domo and me, I want to make sure that it still has legs if the rest of you get bored of it or something.
