I think right click on your main tab in the chat panel and just change your filters.

Based on an experience Domo and I had last night, I think it's pretty safe to say that we're going to be fucked when it comes to flashpoints without some more healers on the team. We did Mandalorian Raiders, which is a level 25 flashpoint. It was Domo and me (both level 31 at the time) and two other guys, both level 26. Domo was the only healer and we got DESTROYED. Repeatedly. One guy quit in frustration and then the other guy called in a level 50 player to get us through it.

I am about to the point that I need to make that decision on my Inquisitor and have been torn. I will go the Sorcerer route for the heals since we need it and heals are always in need in general. Just wish I could save and split off a character for both specs so I wouldn't have to go through the same quest when I make my Assassin.

Bounty Hunter - Mercenary
Sith Inquisitor - Sorceror
Imperial Agent - Operative

Domo is a BH - Merc. We're getting our dicks kicked on Heroic 4's and Flashpoints. In fact, I just rage quit.

Did go Sorcerer with my Inquisitor and excited to try it out. Anyone around level 10 (main/alt) that wants to try that first Flashpoint tonight?

Domo and I will be on. We can hit the flashpoint with you and we promise that we'll hang back and let you get plenty of fun.

Thanks man, I didn't make it on, but now have my Agent and Inquisitor headed down the healing path and just need to decide which one I like more. I am up for some flashpoints again if I can get on tonight. Do you have to go back up to the space station to do them?

If anyone took Archaeology as a crew skill and is sitting on a pile of rubat crystals, i'd sure appreciate a chance to buy or trade for them. i took underworld negotiations and investigations and didn't realize they would not give me the materials needed for my crafting skill of 'synthweaving' so here i am piling up shit i can't use. Yes I will try to sell on the galactic market but people are trying to sell 10 freaking crystals for 5 grand. No way jose. I don't have that kind of coin.

SWTOR discussion for people who didn't cancel it

Postby Jammer » January 3rd, 2012, 12:48 am

I still have no understanding of crew skills or crafting.

MTK and I found a buggy area tonight on a heroic mission with explosives. Each time we would move on one of us would crash out of game. First time anything like that had happened to me in this game.

Yeah it was in the Heroic area of the Unfinished Colossus. I have done it before with no problem but this time either Jammer or I crashed every time we got off the wonkavator.

Jammer you can pick your crew skills on the main fleet ship, to my understanding you can take one crafting skill and two 'gathering' skills. If you take Archaeology as one of your gathering skills we will have much to discuss. But if you don't want to take it then that's fine too.

I took mine because i figured, Imperial Agent, sneaky, underworld trading and intelligence fit right in. And I ignored the suggestions made by the game to my great dismay. Now my crafting skill requires ingredients that I cant' find myself.

I think I have Archaeology. I just don't know what the point of these skills are for. Never understood crafting type of stuff in gaming.
