VS Last Monday, the Broncos dropped to 6-2 on the season after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers by a final score of 28-10. I have been terribly busy this week and will knock out a recap of that game (late, and lame I know) but it was a painful one to watch. [...] VS Denver is 6-1, I predicted them to be 5-11 on the season. You would think that I wouldn’t be upset about the record but I am. I personally HATE the bye week, as I have previously informed everyone. I realize that it is a chance for some teams to take a breath after a horrible stretch, i.e. Titans. It also gives teams a chance to get healthy. But [...] Via the official Denver Broncos Twitter, “The NFL will name Eddie Royal as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October.” What a great honor for a special player. On Monday night in week 6, Eddie was instrumental in completing a 3-phase total team effort for a win over the San Diego Chargers by [...] With the Broncos coming off of a bye week, which I hate, there are still a few areas the Broncos need to improve in their upcoming games. True, the Orange and Blue are 6-0. True, Denver has blown out opponents in the second half, outscoring them 76-10. But there are still a few glaring issues [...] VS
To sum it up, I was pretty much speechless last night. Denver walked into San Diego and through another dominating second half, beat the Chargers by a final of 34 – 23 to go 6-0 on the season and build a decent lead in the AFC West.
