Today the Denver Broncos signed rookie punter Britton Colquitt who was with the Miami Dolphins practice squad. If the name looks familiar to Denver fans, it is because he was brought in to compete with Brett Kern for the punting job this off season and was cut. After a pretty lackluster start to the season for Brett Kern, the Broncos decided to waive him in lieu of veteran punter Mitch Berger. Berger most recently played for the Pittsburgh Steelers where he helped guide them to a Super Bowl by limiting opponent’s field position. Much to your surprise I am sure, I am not actually that dejected about the loss or the [...] VS Last year I did not bother with any preseason previews, mainly just recaps. This year I am going to talk about them a little more because coach McDaniels is placing an increased emphasis on them so I believe we will see some good things happen.
