It was confirmed today that the Denver Broncos have named former linebacker coach Don Martindale as the new defensive coordinator. Filling the void left by Mike Nolan, who departed the team for the Miami Dolphins, coach Martindale was a popular choice among the players.
Coach Martindale has also served as the linebackers coach for the Oakland Raiders and prior to that was the defensive coordinator at Western Kentucky.
