Agreed Steve, they seemed shell shocked to me

the more I think about it I think that seeing the strongest part of the team (the offensive line) get man handled demoralized them a little

the line has been the strongest part of the team for 2 seasons and is arguably the best in the league….watching that break down was surreal

I’ve no doubt they’ll make the changes needed and the adjustment to compete next week

I’m hoping this is the chance for my boy Seth Olsen from Iowa to get some time at guard, Hamilton is terrible right now

Baltimore was just better prepared for this game, they corrected the mistakes on the defensive side of the ball and shut down a very good Bronco offense, I still think Denver is an oustanding football team, but there is still that “give-up” attitude that resognates in the locker room that came out of Marshall’s efforts in the game when we started to put up points. Denver is a great football team with a tough defense, an offense that doesn’t turn the ball over that much, and will still make noise in the NFL, guarenteed.

I hope we show up next week also. I can handle a loss next week, but I want a decent game…who doesn’t right?

Wow, what an honest assessment and I feel your disappointment. And that bet makes me hurt. Ouch! This is the first time I’ve read your blog, being a Steelers fan myself…which reminds me. I hope your team shows up next week because what the Ravens did to the Broncos wasn’t anything compared to what the Steelers D has up its sleeve. And watch out for Big Ben. Maybe the best team win!

Looking at it from the other side,it was great to see the Ravens look like the team fans were expecting to see when the season started. Mistake free on offense, fast and dominating on defense. The special teams play was a bonus. Now both teams have to put this one behind them; as you said the Steelers will be coming to Invesco and the Ravens have a rematch with a Bengals team that took victory from them in the final seconds.

Oh man, I feel for you taking that bet with Lee. He will no doubt rub it in for a good while.
