Keg Buddy Review

Posted By LT. Under Featured, Product Reviews, Tailgating

I know I sound like a broken record but I love tailgating products that actually solve a problem.  If you tailgate in a windy lot you know the pain and annoyance of having plastic cups flying all over the place and the subsequent scramble to get them back to where they were stored.  It’s the little things that really annoy me so I’m always happy to try a product that keeps my annoyance levels down.

Our latest review is for Keg Buddy, a simple yet ingenious pouch and strap system that allows your red Solo cup (yes I sang it as I typed it) to stay where it belongs, right next to the beer.

Excuse my ugly keg, it holds beer so I’m happy

I happened to have a 1/4 keg on hand but for Keg Buddy it really doesn’t matter.  The adjustable strap on the bottom is extremely long and capable of handling any size vessel including a full size keg.  It took about 15 seconds to get it properly adjusted and it was securely attached to my baby here.  Drop the cups in and voila. It holds well over 50 cups so you won’t need to be running back to the truck to get more every five minutes.

Now I don’t want you to think this is strictly for kegs, you can easily attach it to just about anything that will be around your beverages.

When you aren’t using the Keg Buddy, you can tighten the straps as you wrap it up to get it small enough to comfortably fit in the glove compartment.  Due to the ease of use, compact storage and solid design I give Keg Buddy a big Tailgate365 thumbs up.

You can get the product in black right now from their website but I would definitely love to see licensed team designs in the future.  The Keg Buddy is in a high traffic area and it will surely make a lot of friends in the lot.
