Tailgate365 NFL Top 15 – Week 1

Posted By JohnnyHustler. Under Featured, Sports

We’re going to start a Top 15 in the NFL this season. Our voters have spoken, and we rank them according to points awarded for where they’re voted by each participating member of our forums. If you want to participate, join the forums, and look for the power poll thread that is started by yours truly every Tuesday.

On to the first week of the Top 15:

1 San Francisco 49ers – Dominant D, maybe even better than our #2 team…
2 Baltimore Ravens – Flacco looks like it’s coming together. If this is the case, watch out SF
3 New England Patriots – They deserve top 5 until they prove otherwise
4 Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan has more weapons than most 3rd world countries
5 Denver Broncos – The Manning effect took all of one week to show up
6 Chicago Bears – Looked good week one, but expect them to fall after Thursday
7 Houston Texans – Looking good so far, but need to put together a full season
8 NY Giants – Defending SB champs, and not convinced that Dallas is really better
9 Green Bay Packers – Looked rough at first, but will bounce back
10 Detroit Lions – Injuries showed in week 1
11 Dallas Cowboys – An improvement, but can they close out a season?
12 New Orleans Saints – Had to add them, or would have faced a bounty.
13 Washington Redskins – The downside of RG3? He keeps Shanahan’s job safe.
14 Pittsburgh Steelers – Still a good team, but need to shore up over pursuit on D.
15 San Diego Chargers – Someone has to be 15th…
