Please. Help me understand. Because I can’t. What is the allure of these games?
Please. You who are fathers. What do you tell you children about these games? Why daddy feels the need to pretend to run around a fake world killing innocent people? What do you say to their cherubic little faces?
Especially in light of what happened in Newtown, CT, a few weeks ago? Please, tell me. I just cannot understand.
I won’t go into much detail because in all honesty it has nothing to do with video games. I played dungeons and dragons as a child which I heard would make me worship Satan. I risked it and I am pretty sure that Beelzebub is not my deity of choice. I am also relatively sure that millions of people play these games and very few have actually gone out and shot people… they are too busy prestiging to level Zod and showing off their shiny new avatar pants.
Personally I don’t like Pinterest but I’m not trying to take it away from you. What does Pinterest have to do with Newtown? Just as much as Call of Duty.
