Tailgate-Mate Party Table Review

Posted By Mike. Under Beer, Featured, Gadgets, Grub and Booze, Leisure Time, Liquor/Spirits, Product Reviews, Tailgating

It’s not often that I come across a product that is portable, simple and useful.  The fine folks at Tailgate-Mate recently sent us a Party Table for review and I have to say, this little table really impressed me.  I realized the beauty of this product the second that I opened it.  Aside from them being generous and awesome enough to customize the table that they sent us with the Tailgate365 logo (pictures to follow), I was equally impressed with just how quickly this little guy sets up.  The Party Table also comes complete with a carrying case which makes for nice storage and…well, carrying.

The Tailgate-Mate Party Table comes in 2 pieces, the stand and the base of the table.  The base locks onto the stand and the stand itself has a locking system so that the 3 legs stay sturdy and level.  It sounds simple enough, but I cannot emphasize just how many times I have been tailgating, barbequing or sitting in my garage and found myself looking for a stable place to set my refreshing beverage.  The Party Table is just the right height so that when sitting down you can conveniently set your drinks down.  What I liked so much was that it has 4 cup holders, with 2 different sizes to fit cups, cans or bottles.

I decided to really put this bad ass holder of all that is good in life to the test this past week in 2 different situations.  The first test was conducted in sunny Winner, South Dakota.  We were deer hunting (trust me, not many other reasons to visit Winner other than hunting) at our family farm and decided to take a break to grill and sit on the deck to have a few drinks after the blood letting.  As you can see, the table was perfect.  I was specifically impressed with how sturdy the table was in this situation.  I say that because South Dakota is pretty windy, and the table didn’t blow over once while we were using it.  The fact that it is this lightweight and that stable was a VERY big bonus to me.

Next up, the old man and I came back to Denver to enjoy some pre-game tailgating for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets Thursday night match up (suck it Jets).  Again, the table was tremendously useful and as you can see fit the ever-popular Solo cup as well as my beer bottle.  I had several comments during our little tailgate about how cool it was.

The table is available in 10 different colors (red, orange, green, yellow, purple, grey, black, white, blue and brown) and only $19.99.  To me, it’s well worth that price and I may even pick a couple more up myself to have around for people to use.  Check their website out at http://tailgate-mate.com/ for videos, product information and of course…to order one for yourself.  The only problem I see is, keeping your eye on it once you have it because people will want this.  Seriously, I am taking yours if you don’t watch it.

Overall, I rate the Tailgate-Mate Party table a tasty 5 out of 5 Black and Tans Rating: ★★★★★

1)Is it not too small to fit 4 chairs around & reach for your drink?

    2) A bigger size would allow for that but also for plates to rest?

    3) A taller one so people standing could put drinks down?

    Nice idea

    Hey Richard!

    1) I would say it isn’t really meant for that but it works well for that…we did this a lot tailgating. That said, I would say a couple of them would be handier honestly.

    2) Exactly….this is just made for drinks.

    3) I have thought this as well…I would be happy to send this feedback to the makers.

    Thanks for stopping by.
