New Music Releases October 4, 2011

Posted By LT. Under Featured, Music

Apple darling (remember 1234?) Feist is out to prove the commercial success of  “The Reminder” was no fluke.  Mainstays Indigo Girls release their 14th studio album and we get the first shot of original music from the Misfits since 1999 thanks to founding member Jerry Only.  American Idol fans will get Scotty McCreery’s debut album after his single shot up the charts following his big win.  Country legend Merle Haggard releases his second album on Vanguard Records and seemingly his 946 album overall.  The man is a workhorse.

What I’m Excited For:  Mutemath

Not many bands reinvent themselves with each new album but Mutemath does it and does it well.  It will be interesting to see which direction they take the third album.
