Above is the official teaser one-sheet for next summer’s highly anticipated The Dark Knight Rises. The Christopher Nolan directed film stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman/The Dark Knight, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Tom Hardy as Bane. Also included in the cast are Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cottilard, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, and Josh Pence.
The trailer below was attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this weekend and immediate buzz followed. Keep in mind, the movie is still in production and there is still a lot left to be filmed. We get glimpses of a broken down injured Comissioner Gordon (Oldman), a massive Bane (Hardy) and a terrified Batman (Bale). Even though there isn’t much new footage here, one can’t help but get excited watching the trailer. I think we are going to get a more physical film – Bane vs. Batman could be one hell of a fight. There is no Catwoman in the trailer…nor much of anything else new. But this is a good tease for what’s to come.
UPDATED: Here is a video from the set showing an all out brawl that appears to be between the cops and prison inmates who have just escaped.
