Guru dies at 43

Posted By LT. Under Featured, Leisure Time, Music

The music world lost an icon this week with the passing of Keith “Guru” Elam due to cancer related issues.  His partner Sonar released a letter written before his death:

“I, Guru, am writing this letter to my fans, friends and loved ones around the world,” the letter said. “I have had a long battle with cancer and have succumbed to the disease. I have suffered with this illness for over a year. I have exhausted all medical options.”

While the letter continues on with a negative tone towards frayed relationships and broken partnerships, the man should be remembered for the amazing music he gave us.
